JOB OVERVIEW
The Product Manager is responsible for leading a multidisciplinary agile delivery team to develop a new major digital product or service and/or extensive iterations to significant existing products and/or services.
Job Requirements:
- A degree in Information Technology and/or Information Management discipline, or in a related technical field, comparable diploma, certification(s) and experience;
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered:
- A degree in Information Technology and/or Information Management or a related technical field, and a minimum three (3) years of experience in a similar role.
- A diploma in Information Technology and/or Information Management or a related technical field, and a minimum four (4) years of experience in a similar role.
- A certification in Information Technology and/or Information Management or a related technical field, and a minimum five (5) years of experience in a similar role.
Related experience must include all of the following (preference may be given if you meet more than (3) three years):
- At least three (3) years of experience using user-centered design practices in the development of digital products and services.
- Experience using modern agile project management practices to design, deliver and continuously improve high quality digital products and services.
- Experience managing complex enterprise IM/IT projects with multiple interdependencies including major business transformations, strategic communications, and the oversight of system integrators.
- Experience leading change management initiatives across a large organization.
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- Experience working on digital identity initiatives.
- Experience supervising staff.
- Managing the delivery of a business solution to ensure it meets the needs of multiple development teams.
- Experience improving client centric services for the public.
