Government of Canada Provides $9.6 Million in Funding to Support Four UBC Tech-Related Centres and Institutes

Vancouver, BC, September 16, 2019--(T-Net)--The Government of Canada through Western Economic Diversification Canada (WD) has announced $9,603,463 in funding to support four University of British Columbia (UBC) projects that provide testing grounds to commercialize new technologies:

Through our investments in UBC, we're making Canada a world-leading centre of innovation, and creating the jobs and technologies of the future." said Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development (and Minister responsible for Western Economic Diversification Canada).
