PDFTron Extends European Presence with Acquisition of PDFlib

Vancouver, BC, July 14, 2022--(T-Net)--PDFTron Systems Inc., a leading provider of digital content solutions for software developers, announced today that it has acquired PDFlib GmbH, a München, Germany-based innovator of dynamic, server-side PDF creation technology.
PDFlib specializes in enterprise PDF features, including support for multilingual texts, and is expected to integrate with PDFTron's existing document creation APIs. In addition, PDFlib's developer team will assist PDFTron's product R&D in complementary areas of document manipulation, document workflow automation, and intelligent document processing.
The acquisition of PDFlib is PDFTron's second European action this year, following the purchase of open-source PDF technology company iText in April.

Private equity firm Thoma Bravo made a strategic growth investment in PDFTron in May 2021, helping fuel PDFTron's recent acquisitions.
