Vancouver, BC, June 7, 2022--(T-Net)--New Ventures BC has announced the 42 companies advancing to Round 2.5 and Round 3 of its annual awards competition (New Ventures BC Competition 2022), following reviews by a panel of 95 judges.

New Ventures BC reported that 15 ventures are now moving directly into Round 3, and 27 ventures wil be pitching in Round 2.5. 42 companies in total will be moving on, from 182 original Round 2 submissions, which were reviewed by a panel of 95 judges.

All submitted scores were reviewed and analyzed by decisions analytics firm, Octothorpe.

What's next?

The top 15 companies advance directly to Round 3. The remaining 27 teams will enter Round 2.5, where they will pitch for a chance to advance. The top ten ventures from this pitch day will join Round 3, creating their Top 25.

Round 2.5 pitches happen June 22nd. Round 3 will be announced shortly after the Round 2.5 pitch day.
