T-Net has recently completed an upgrade to T-Net's Tech Careers website and job search functionality.
This upgrade includes a new job title specific search option, additional keyword search options, Boolean search commands and functionality (on all job title and keyword search fields), plus the ability to more easily conduct sophisticated job searches involving multiple, combined job search criteria on T-Net (using any combination of job title, keyword(s), job category, sector, company size, company name(s), city or region).
Please find attached a list of some of the most common job search options on T-Net, as well as some tips on how to each of these (in particular - they keyword search fields).
Please Show Me All Jobs on T-Net In Date Order
In order to see all job search results, in date order (with the newest job listings at the top), simply click on the brown "Search" button on the bottom of the Job Search, or Advanced Job Search pages.
Job Title Search
Searches by "Job Title" are one of the fastest and easiest ways to quickly search for relevant job listings on T-Net.
Simply enter the job title(s) that you feel would most closely match the type of job(s) you are looking for in the main Job Title field, and then click the "Search" button (example: enter "Software Engineer").
Note: Job Title searches can be conducted by themselves, or in combination with Keyword searches (for example: Job Title "Software Engineer" and Keyword "C++"), or also in combination with other Candidate Job Search Criteria (such as Job Category, Job Sector, Company Size, and others).
Important: Please note that by default, Job Title searches will match all terms. If you wish to match only some terms, to match exact phrases, or to exclude certain terms from your search results, you can take advantage of Boolean search functionality. Keyword Search
Searches by "Keyword" are an alternative (or addition) to "Job Title Searches", and it is important to understand the distinction between these two.
While a Job Title Search will search only the job title, a "keyword search" will search all job listing fields, including the job title field.
To search for job listings by keyword, simply enter the desired keyword(s) you feel would best match the kind of job or career opportunities that you are looking for in the Keyword search field, and then click the "Search" button.
Note: Keyword searches can be conducted by themselves, or in combination with Job Title searches (for example: Job Title "Software Engineer" and Keyword "C++"), or also in combination with other Candidate Job Search Criteria (such as Job Category, Job Sector, Company Size, and others).
Important: Please note that by default, Keyword searches will match all terms. If you wish to match only some terms, to match exact phrases, or to exclude certain terms from your search results, you can take advantage of Boolean search functionality. Other Major Job Search Types on T-Net
T-Net's new keyword search options allow you to do sophisticated or combination job searches on T-Net in order to find only the jobs or career opportunities you are most interested in.
These search options can also be used in conjunction with all of the other options listed (for example, in conjunction with a job title search, keyword search, job category search, job sector search, job region search, company name search, date search, or any combination of the above).
(a) Search for jobs by company name by selecting the specific company(s) of interest to you in the drop down menu beside the "Company" search field on the Advanced Job Search page, or within the "Refine My Search" toolbar that appears beside all job search results),
(b) a Keyword Search by Company Name (on either the main Job Search page, the Advanced Job Search page, or within the "Refine My Search" toolbar that appears beside all job search results).
(c) clicking on a company's logo on the front page of the Tech Careers section of T-Net.
Note: You may also select multiple search criteria in one or more categories (for example, select two job categories and three job regions together), in order to further define your search.
