The Business, Security & End User Services (BSES) department is seeking a Technology Enablement Specialist II (TES II) to join our team, where our focus is always on our end-users and prioritizing the client experience.
Reporting to the Manager, Technology Enablement, the Technology Enablement Specialist II (TES II) plays a key role in the user experience, capability exploration, and learnings of end-user (EU) technologies to support the needs of WorksafeBC employees. The purpose of this position is to ensure a positive user experience as our employees understand, use, and adopt EU technologies throughout its lifecycle, including the introduction of new and enhanced capabilities, and the upgrading and retirement of EU technologies.

What you'll do
As a Technology Enablement Specialist II, you will:
- Manage intake channels to gather user feedback and prioritize user requests relating to EU technologies
- Explore innovative approaches to capture and analyze user experience data from clients using EU technologies
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions to understand business needs and explore possible technology options with EU technologies
- Document and communicate end-user impact of technology changes to stakeholders
- Build, manage, and promote EU technology learnings to be shared across the enterprise
- Act as a champion for EU technologies, including MS Windows, M365, and associated hardware
- Possess and maintain expert level knowledge of EU technologies
- Lead continuous improvement activities that expand and enhance the use of EU technology platform capabilities across the organization
- Present on various technology topics to a non-technical audience that focuses on enabling technology and creating business value
Is this a good fit for you?
We're looking for someone who can:
- Develop end-user training and reference materials for EU technologies following corporate writing standards and guidelines
- Educate end-user community on EU technology capabilities
- Gather and compile user feedback using various usability tools and producing related usability metrics and reports
- Evaluate new EU technologies and identify its benefits, risk, and impacts to the business
- Research current EU technology capabilities, identify enablement opportunities to align to business needs, and present findings and viable solution to non-technical stakeholders
- Translate technical and business requirements into tangible, measurable value and user-specific improvements for the customer-facing teams.
- Partner with the SME from various lines of business to develop, review, and validate communications content as related to EU technologies and platforms
- Communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholders and solicit feedback through large group sessions
- Narrate and visualize business processes for stakeholders to understand the business problem that need to be solved
Your experience and educational background:
- An undergraduate degree in information technology, business management or knowledge management or similar related program
- At least 6 years of real-time work experience in an IT technical support or delivery role which includes at least 5 years' experience working in a role specific to supporting and enabling end-user technologies for staff
