Job Summary
We have an opportunity for a Senior Advisor, Customer Engagement & Corporate Sustainability to join our Corporate Quality team in our Richmond, BC headquarters. In this role, you will partner with the Senior Director, Customer Engagement, Corporate Quality and Corporate Sustainability (CS) in driving the organization to achieve its Customer Engagement, Corporate Quality and CS goals which ultimately position Sierra Wireless to be the IoT partner of choice for wireless device-to-cloud solutions and deliver on our trusted-partner commitment to our customers.
You will drive the development and implementation of our Customer Engagement program to listen to the voice of our customers and provide meaningful feedback to internal teams, the Quality Management System to demonstrate our adherence to the ISO 9001:2015 standard and commitment to continual improvement, and the CS program in pursuit of our CS goals. This is a highly collaborative, fast-paced team that values organization, communication, and a spirit of continual learning.
Responsibilities
Customer Engagement
- Drive the Customer Experience philosophy throughout the organization
- Develop, execute, analyze and report on relationship and transactional NPS surveys.
- Establish mechanisms to bring detractor feedback to the attention of appropriate functional area and ensure corrective actions thereby ensuring a closed-loop process
Corporate Quality - Quality Management System and ISO 9001:2015
- Drive culture of quality across the organization
- As a Lead Internal Auditor, act as subject-matter expert on ISO 9001:2015 standard
- Provide QMS training to new process owners/auditees
- Drive the planning, scheduling, and executing internal and external audits:
- - Determine which QMS processes should be in the scope of the internal/external audits (based on previous external and internal audit findings, etc.)
- - Develop a cohesive agenda for internal and external audits including scheduling and notifying auditees
- - Participate in audits
- - Liaise with external service providers that provide the audit services
- Review and update Corporate Quality process documents
- Ensure QMS processes are maintained and being used appropriately by partnering with functional leaders
Corporate Sustainability - Research, develop and implement CS program
- Responsible Business Alliance (RBA):
- - Assist with maintaining our RBA certification including the internal audit process
- - Participate in RBA events/conferences and work groups to stay informed of developments in CS
- CS Goals:
- - Participate in annual strategic planning to maintain and update CS roadmap
- - Support goal owners with achieving their objectives and help manage the goal committees (agendas, terms of reference, meeting minutes, etc.)
- - Support the production of the annual CS report
- - Develop infographics and presentations to represent progress toward goals
- - Manage intranet site
- - Draft key messages to internal and external stakeholders
Other Assigned Duties
- Assist with developing communication that will enhance the workforce's knowledge of Customer Engagement, Corporate Quality, and CS initiatives.
- Provide direction and coaching to co-op students
Required Education, Experience & Skills
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- 1 - 3 years' work experience in a fast-paced, preferably high-tech environment in Corporate Quality and/or Corporate Sustainability
- Lead auditor certification in ISO 9001:2015
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Ability to influence stakeholders across the organization to meet goals
- Demonstrated advanced proficiency with the MS Office suite of productivity products especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated proficiency with databases and ability to quickly learn to use new software tools
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels
- Demonstrated ability to gather research, report and analyze findings, and present the data clearly so that it's easily understood
- Understanding of corporate sustainability laws, regulations, and directives
- High degree of attention to detail
- Ability to switch tasks easily
Desired Education, Experience & Skills
- Lead Auditor Certification in ISO 9001:2015
