The successful candidate will need to be well versed in all aspects of recruiting including candidate development, generation, and creative sourcing. As a member of our Talent Acquisition team, you will seek out the best matches for our roles based on skills, experience, and values. This role will be located in Victoria or Vancouver, B.C.
In this role, your major responsibilities will be to: - Lead kick-off meetings to fully understand the role requirements and core competencies, how those fit with business objectives, and design comprehensive job postings and interview kits to support the selection process
- Identify, attract, screen, shortlist, interview, and evaluate suitable candidates
- Develop and implement proven sourcing strategies
- Effectively manage the inbound flow of internal and external candidate applications in our applicant tracking system (Greenhouse)
- Develop and maintain long-term relationship with our qualified candidates
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand business requirements and client requests
- Present qualified candidates for positions in various industries and for various technical and business roles
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and projects
To be successful in this role, you must bring the following minimum qualifications: - Minimum 5-7 years of diverse IT technical recruiting experience in a professional, fast-paced environment
- Post-secondary certificate or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Ability to manage a high volume of recruitment requirements concurrently and manage priorities
- Strong understanding of social recruitment tools and active on social media, specifically LinkedIn
- Have an established network of candidates in the IT sector
- In depth understanding of relevant technology, technical roles, and technical skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient user of MS Office Suite
