Position Highlights

The Collaboration Platforms team has an opportunity for a Senior Technical Specialist.

You will join a dynamic team delivering modern collaboration solutions to ICBC. We are looking for someone who shares our keen interest in delivering high service levels to our customers.

Your scope: Manage the design, implementation, maintenance and disaster recovery for the ICBC messaging environment consisting of:

• Hybrid Exchange - M365 Exchange Online and Exchange 2016 on premise.
• Electronic FAX connectors on premise.
• Email sanitation through M365 Exchange Online Protection.
• M365 Teams - Teams Only - environment.
• Lead Messaging team providing subject matter expertise in messaging/collaboration technologies within Information Services.

Position Requirements

You will need to draw on your background as a lead Microsoft Exchange administrator and your technical expertise with:

• Exchange 2016 on premise platform support.
• Exchange Hybrid connector to M365 Exchange Online.
• Modern Authentication.
• Exchange 2016 on premise to Exchange Online mailbox migrations.
• Exchange Online protection - design, setup, configuration, monitoring.
• M365 Defender products (formerly ATP) - e.g. Safe Attachments, Safe Links.
• Data Loss Prevention rules setup and monitoring.
• Office 365 Message Encryption - leveraging with DLP.
• Retention Policy - applying policy to Exchange Online.
• M365 TEAMS.
• Powershell scripting.

You have demonstrated strong people and project management skills including:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to present technical information appropriate to the audience and facilitatediscussion.
• Excellent problems solving, analytic and organizational abilities.
• Experience mentoring and training junior staff.
• Clear customer focus.

Your experience is supported with formal systems training through a technical degree or diploma or equivalent experience.
