Your Role:
As our HR team continues to grow, we are adding another Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the continuous and exciting growth goals of our fast-paced SaaS company.
Your primary contribution will be to help drive the daily operations of Global Relay's recruitment efforts. As someone who is committed to increasing employee growth and engagement, you use industry-proven best practices - with a bit of your own twist. You're proactive, resourceful, and comfortable thinking outside of the box. Although you're comfortable working as an individual contributor, you like the idea of working as part of a highly collaborative team.
Your Job:
- Champion Global Relay's brand and establish relationships with candidates through initial reach outs, screening calls, phone interviews, and reference checks
- Own part of the candidate pipeline and ensure your candidates move through the process without delay
- Keep the Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse) up to date, by maintaining job requisitions, applications, and ensuring accurate reporting
- Research and respond to questions related to recruitment procedures and compliance with legislated standards
- Ensure the established recruitment process is communicated effectively and adopted consistently
- Represent Global Relay in a professional manner when communicating with both internal and external stakeholders
- Attend recruitment-related events such as Company open houses, webinars, industry networking events, information sessions, and career fairs
- Evaluate and promote our employer brand, including engagement with our social media channels
- Develop and maintain strong and effective working relationships with hiring managers
- Compile recruitment status reports and metrics as required
- Build and maintain a solid pipeline of candidates you would be excited about potentially working with
About You:
- 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition in the high tech software industry
- Precise communicator with strong business acumen, time management skills, and initiative to learn
- Sound knowledge of HR standards, recruitment best practices, and employment regulations
- Working experience with an Applicant Tracking System (bonus points if you've worked with Greenhouse) and advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Proven ability to build rapport and maintain trust with employees at all levels within the organization
- Proven record of taking responsibility and showing good judgment, including exercising discretion and maintaining confidentiality
- Great attention to detail with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task under pressure with changing priorities
- Flexible self-starter who is comfortable working independently and with a team
- Experience working in a fast-paced Software Development environment is an asset
