Salesforce Administration is concerned with the business configuration and administration of the Salesforce Platform.
Expectations of the Salesforce Administrator role include but are not limited to:
- Preferably have Salesforce Administrator certification;
- Maintaining the Platform including sustainment of production Orgs and other environments;
- Staying current on the platform's new tools, capabilities, and updates;
- Creating new user profiles, user account support and monitor access levels;
- Running deduplication tools;
- Running quarterly database maintenance reports;
- Creating and maintaining archive for field history tables;
- Maintain sharing and visibility settings;
- Dealing with SSO, authentication and certificate issues;
- Administration of configurable aspects of the platform, including objects, fields, reports, and flows;
- Implementation of minor enhancements; and,
- Application of patches and hot fixes.
- 10 + years of experience
- Nice to have experience managing effective working relationships with senior executive management levels in a public sector environment including VPs, Directors and Managers
