Responsibilities:

• Drive production team to achieve established targets, maintain high product quality and manufacturing yield while ensuring optimal use of resources and adherences to best safety practices.
• Execute production plan as per schedule, assign the right resource, accomplish work results, establish priorities and make change if needed, monitor progress, resolve problems, and report results to the management.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Technical team, Materials, Sales, and other internal departments to maintain consistency and ensure production targets and quality standards are met and upheld.
• Monitor the performance of production team members and communicate the job expectations. Provide coaching, counseling, and discipline employees when necessary, continuously provide feedback based on performance.
• Arrange training for New hires and underperforming employees.
• Maintain smooth working relationship with the team, resolves personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommend action to Production Manager.
• Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, and answering questions and responding to requests.
• Supervisor spends 20% plus of their time working on direct labour in manufacturing.
• Lead by example of positive reinforcement and support Delta controls to achieve the company vision.
• May be required to perform other related duties as assigned by Production Manager.

Experience required:

• Required education:
• High school diploma or 5 years of experience as supervisor, Bachelor degree a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisor/management role.
