Position Description:
As a Content Creator at Damon's Vancouver office, you are responsible for producing video and photo assets based on concepts from the creative team. We're looking for a self-starter who can take an idea and bring it to life using the tools of his craft. A part of the role will also include assisting the senior content producer with production and post-production.
This is a full-time position at the Damon Motors HQ in downtown Vancouver.
Skills and Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Journalism, Communications, or Film Production with a minimum of 4+ years of related experience including experience in a professional videography role either in television or advertising, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Creative mind with an eye for detail and storytelling skills
- High level of proficiency with digital video and photography equipment
- Excellent understanding of lighting for various styles.
- Masterful editing skills with video and photography assets.
- High degree of proficiency with creative tools (e.g., Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop)
- Thorough knowledge of computer imaging, photographic techniques, studio management and color composition
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in the use of a variety of software applications (e.g., Google document, database, spreadsheet, and presentation).
- Travel may be required.

- 80+ hours of experience on a union set (feature film or television series).
- Exposure to the automotive or extreme sports industry.
