We are looking to add a Director, New Product Introduction (NPI) to the Damon team - if you are ready to push beyond the limits & do your best work - we want to hear from YOU!
Position Overview:
As the Director, New Product Introduction (NPI) you will be responsible for the design and development of all new product introduction for all products produced by Damon. This includes Damon factories, third party factories and partners for manufacturing.
Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement a NPI process for manufacturing Damon products.
- Work closely with the staff to understand and develop NPI process.
- Identify and manage resources to NPI development and execution.
- Develop NPI processes for high efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Prioritize and develop projects based on critical needs.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing processes for manufacturing of Damon products.
- Develop all MES systems for NPI, manufacturing at Damon facilities, third party contractors and partners.
- Recommend new ideas and techniques to ensure project success.
- Perform process design, development and implementation of new projects.
- Provide support and guidance to team to meet daily work demands.
- Analyze and troubleshoot process problems so as to make continuous and permanent improvements.
- Develop NPI process to ensure projects launch within allotted timelines and budget.
- Ensure in compliance with company and industry standards.
Requirements:
- B.S. in Engineering or Science, or equivalent.
- 8 years of relevant work experience in operations leadership roles.
- Experience applying "Lean thinking" principles to improve operational performance.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Ability to build, mentor and develop strong teams.
- Organizing and planning skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in presenting clear and concise information to team, internal customers, senior management and external customers.
- Experience in program management including planning.
- Strong collaborative skills and ability to manage through influence.
Desired:
- Willingness to travel (20%-50%).
- Experience working offshore in Southeast Asia.
