Wavefront Welcomes Three New Members to its Board of Directors

Vancouver, BC, April 22, 2013--(T-Net)--Wavefront, Canada's Centre of Excellence for Wireless Commercialization and Research, announced the addition of three new members to its national Board of Directors. Mandated to drive wireless innovation and commercialization for Canada, the Board of Directors offer their long standing expertise, professional networks and strategic guidance to Wavefront and the companies it serves.
Elaine Mah, Director for Canada at Intel Corporation, reflects Wavefront's mandate through her proven track record and dedication to fostering innovation and growth for small businesses. Based in Toronto, Elaine brings her expert knowledge of technology and emerging trends to Wavefront and the Board.
Based in Montreal, Michel Lefebvre, Tax Partner, R & D and Innovation, responsible for the ICT sector at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, has close to 30 years experience in finance and government grants. Michel brings critical expertise to Wavefront in the areas of taxation, financing, research and development - crucial enablers to the growth of wireless companies in Canada.
Carl Marcotte, Vice-President, ICT Group & Transportation Group at Ottawa-based Export Development Canada (EDC), brings extensive experience in international business development, finance and risk management. With access to more than 200 markets worldwide, Carl and EDC will bolster Wavefront's network of international partners and market entry programs.
