Solution includes interfaces with SAP and Esri GIS
Richmond, BC, March 6, 2018--(T-Net)--Clevest announced today that it has been selected by Suffolk County Water Authority for Mobile Workforce Management technology to manage their 174 mobile users and 111 office/supervisor users serving 1.2 million customers throughout the eastern portion of Long Island, NY.
Suffolk County Water Authority is an independent public-benefit corporation that is the largest groundwater supplier in the United States.
The utility's deployment of Clevest Mobile Workforce Management will include scheduling, route optimization, contractor management, supervisor module, configuration, as well as interfaces to the utility's SAP and Esri GIS enterprise systems.
"We are pleased to help Suffolk County Water Authority better manage their appointment commitments, improve productivity and increase customer satisfaction by eliminating their paper-based processes," stated David Trotter, Global VP of Sales for Clevest. "This agreement calls attention to the value Clevest delivers to municipal utilities in using workforce automation technology to help deliver safe, reliable and superior services," Trotter added.
"We selected Clevest based on the company's proven SAP integration, easy user interface, and overall ability to meet our project requirements," explained Michael Litka, Chief Technology Officer for Suffolk County Water Authority. "We expect an increase in customer satisfaction by having a tool to manage our customer appointments and narrow our appointment bookings to three hour blocks, as well as efficiently automating work from our SAP system for customer service, production control and construction maintenance."
Clevest's Mobile Workforce Management software will also provide visualization and real-time status updates on whether the utility's crews will be able to meet their customer commitments. Currently their crews have all-day windows and no automated method to manage whether those appointments are honored or not.
To date 220 utilities have selected Clevest to manage their field workers, crews and contractors.
Combined, the Clevest solution now serves 100M+ consumers through 12,000+ mobile workers and 1,200+ dispatchers. Learn more at www.clevest.com
