Canada's 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures™, founded and presented by Waterstone Human Capital, is awarded to the top Canadian organizations with a culture that helps them enhance performance and sustain their competitive advantage
Vancouver, BC, December 16, 2015--(T-Net)--Vision Critical, a leading customer intelligence platform provider, today announced that Waterstone Human Capital has recognized the company as one of Canada's 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures™ of 2015 in the Mid-Market category.
The award, now in its eleventh year, is presented to organizations that demonstrate a positive corporate culture that results in significant business success.
The award is presented to forty qualified companies across four categories - three based on revenue (growth and small capital, mid-market, and enterprise) and one not-for-profit category (broader public sector).
Each submission is scored on the following categories: vision and leadership; recruitment and hiring for fit; cultural alignment and measurement; retention, rewards, and recognition; organizational performance; and corporate social responsibility.
“Our company is about people - we know that companies that engage in ongoing conversations with their customers and their employees make better decisions and produce better results,” said Sue DiPoce, executive vice president of Human Resources at Vision Critical. “For us, a great culture means much more than providing a fun place to work. Developing a supportive, empowering environment with our employees has a direct impact on Vision Critical's performance.”
“In our work at Waterstone, we partner with leaders of high-growth organizations to help them recruit for fit and provide counsel on human capital issues to drive performance,” said Marty Parker, President and Chief Executive Officer of Waterstone Human Capital and Chair of Canada's 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures™. “What's so impressive about this diverse list of 2015 winners is their shared belief that culture is their competitive advantage - they know that building and sustaining a great culture is a significant asset that drives performance. The 2015 winning organizations have shown diverse strategies in achieving inspirational cultures that have measureable results.”
To qualify for Canada's 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures™, companies must be Canadian or Canadian subsidiary organizations, either privately-held or publicly-traded, and have a head office, or a subsidiary office, in Canada. Canadian public-sector organizations are also eligible (e.g. not-for-profit organizations, government agencies, and crown corporations).
