Angel Forum Announces Veteran Tech Executive Rich Simons as BC's Angel Investor of the Year for 2017

Vancouver, BC, December 5, 2017--(T-Net)--Bob Chaworth Musters of the Angel Forum announced in a newsletter brief that Rich Simons has been recognized as the BC Angel Investor of the Year for 2017.
Mr. Simons is well known in BC tech insider circles and has held a number of C-level positions and directorships among well known BC tech companies and others.
Among his numerous community contributions, he led the $4 million angel-only funding of Vancouver-based Daiya Foods; which recently sold for $405 million (and where a $50K angel investment returned $1.4 million).
He currently serves as an advisor for well known BC tech companies QuickMobile and Terramera Inc., and also serves as a board director at Arc Medical Devices Inc., and Chairman of the Board at Daiya Foods.
