Former ATG and SAP Executives Join Elastic Path Management Team

Vancouver, BC, January 25, 2011--(T-Net)--Elastic Path Software, provider of the flexible enterprise ecommerce platform, announced the addition to its leadership team of Cliff Conneighton as chief strategy officer and Sal Visca as chief technology officer. Both bring experience from global enterprises such as ATG and SAP respectively.
Formerly the senior vice president of marketing for ATG, Cliff will be instrumental in developing and executing on Elastic Path's overall business strategy and will serve as the general manager for its ecommerce consulting and research division.

Cliff is a recognized authority on ecommerce and has helped numerous technology companies become industry leaders. In addition to his ATG tenure, he was formerly vice president of BBN Planet, the world's first commercial national internet backbone service provider. Prior to this, he co-founded iCOMS, the first independent commerce service provider and held positions as the head of marketing for Lotus Notes as well as the vice president for Gartner's largest software practice.
Sal Visca will be responsible for developing Elastic Path's long-term technology strategies as well as spearheading a process to bring new enterprise ecommerce solutions to market.

Sal has over 22 years of experience developing long-term technology strategies, understanding emerging markets and technologies, and bringing new consumer and business solutions to market. Previously the chief technology officer for Business Objects, Sal led the technical due diligence efforts resulting in the company's acquisition by SAP for $6.8B USD. At the time, this was the third largest acquisition in history. He moved on to become chief technology officer for SAP's Technology Development Group. Prior to this, Sal worked for IBM as a software development executive for ebusiness solutions and was instrumental in IBM's early entrance into the ecommerce market.
