Genome BC is pleased to invite BC's life sciences community to attend our 15th Annual Genomics Forum.
This is your opportunity to learn more about the scope, scale and progress of genomics, proteomics and bioinformatics research in BC. This one-day scientific forum brings researchers and collaborators from all of BC's life sciences sectors together to share information and discuss opportunities for future collaborations.
There will be a blend of local and national speakers as well as panel discussions with audience interaction.
An agenda is available <here>
We strongly encourage your attendance as well as your team members (including grad students, post docs and project managers). This forum is designed to be helpful to all current and future researchers. This is a no-cost event with breakfast and lunch provided.
Research Exchange 2017 Poster Competition
And as part of the 15th Annual Genomics Forum, graduate students are invited to present their research poster to the life sciences community in BC. Hosted by Genome BC and the Student Biotech Network, the poster competition will feature an impressive display of graduate, post-doctoral and platform technology research posters in disciplines across the life sciences (not just genomics). Judges from across the life sciences sector will determine the top three presentations.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three posters.
Entries for the poster competition must be registered in advance. Complete info can be found on their website: www.thesbn.ca.
